Letter regarding 'Time for radio chiefs to listen to us'

Dear Editor,

Thank you for Mature Times.

Terry Waite's column was timely and could have gone further still.

I refer to the popular music side. Unless other readers can correct me, I
feel abandoned by radio stations which do not cater for my generation, in
particular the BBC.

As Terry Waite has started the ball rolling, is it not time for a dedicated
radio station playing 40s, 50s and 60s music to accommodate us?

Perhaps one of No. 10's famed on-line petitions would help?
