Letter regarding Calling All Men

How wonderful to see an older person recommending Couchsurfing - I was beginning to think I was the only 'mature' Couchsurfing host around! I became a member a year ago, assuming that only older travellers would want to stay with me....

 

I haven't had one request from older travellers, but I have hosted 6 people from Germany, one from Sweden, Finland, and the US, two from Czech Republic, one from Romania, one from France and one from the UK. They ranged in age from 18-33, and every one of them was a pleasure to have around.

I love the idea of offering this small gesture of friendship without any money changing hands.

I can't recommend it highly enough....if you have a spare bed or sofa, welcome these young adventurers into your home for a night or two...share a meal...exchange stories...we are changing the world - one sofa at a time!
