An Introduction To The World Of Ility’s

One of the more worrying aspects of growing older is entering the world of ility’s. There is no time scale for this move. Indeed, it can happen quite suddenly even before you are classed as elderly. But in the usual order of things the fact you have now arrived in the world of ility’s is when certain ility’s are brought to your attention, like for instance;

 

Ability, somehow you seem to have less of it!

 

This in turn is part of

 

Capability, a sort of weaker cousin.

 

Fragility then comes to your notice.

 

Debility is the form this usually takes.

 

You will notice that things you once took for granted now have to be worked at!

 

Worst of all in this world of ility’s, is the widespread ilit’y afflicting increasing numbers of older people.

Invisibility!

 

This is most noticeable in public places such as shops, transport and other service areas! But can be encountered anywhere.

 

On the other hand, hopefully you will have a long way to go before you need the Facility offered by an undertaker!

 

Meanwhile, take positive steps to avoid the least wanted ility of all, the dreaded Senility!

 

The best way is to develop and nurture a curiosity of mind.
