A sincere and heartfelt thank you for your words of poignancy and inspiration, which surely succeeded in lifting one's spirit during these dark and difficult days (Remember, remember the 11th November - enewsletter November).

 

It is a worthy testament to the relentless unselfishness and ceaseless indomitable strength of character inbedded in so many wonderful people in our country. 

 

With so many problems invading our personal lives these days, it is remarkable how our older generation are still setting the standards for future disciplines and principles, despite their long years of hardship in many ways. 

 

The world has become a frightening place which the financial masters of the universe seem to dominate, but those without huge debt burdens and the ability to cope in times of trouble might survive the journey back to normality - if they can keep warm enough and well enough through the winter months. 

 

Your comments are always a very welcome addition to your extremely enjoyable editorial, and I know I am not alone in appreciating all your effort and professional input in making Mature Times such an interesting read.
